Friends, Reinventing or Reconnecting with Why / by Marissa Feinberg

Dear friends,

I hope all is well, and you are safe and healthy. Many of us are reinventing ourselves or our organizations during COVID-19. It's also the beginning of spring, a season for renewal, and last week marked 50 years of honoring Mother Earth. While this an unprecedented time of suffering, it is one of growth as well.

My recent webinar, "How to Articulate Your Why and Stay Connected in Times of Crisis," discusses how we can move from "isolation" to "incubation" or "creation" with purpose.* The webinar shares how to articulate your Why for yourself, your brand, and your audience.

If you want more support developing a new story for your new direction; or to revisit or reconnect with your Why, you're invited to my Master Class. Together, we can dive deeper to hone, test, and pivot your messaging, and then integrate it across your communications channels. You will do the foundational work to strengthen your storytelling and have more tools to support you in the future.

Feel free to reach out if you have questions or feedback. Regardless, I look forward to staying connected and supporting our community in any way I can.

Gratitude, Marissa

ARTICULATE YOUR WHY & STAY CONNECTED IN TIMES OF CRISIS

ONLINE MASTER CLASS

YOUR PERSONAL WHY

“There’s something that makes him/her tick,” is what we think when we interact with a passionate person. Inspired people attract others to be part of their vision and story. Through guided exercises, learn to articulate your personal Why and stay connected to it, elevating your inspiration during times of crisis.

YOUR BRAND’S WHY

Knowing and articulating your brand’s purpose is critical. Leadership and team members that keep their eyes on the Whys stay inspired and motivated, attracting core communities. Be one of the people who can articulate your brand’s Why, a fundamental building block for your brand story.

YOUR AUDIENCE’S WHY

This is the most important Why! How are your audience’s Whys aligned with yours and your mission’s? How can you best connect your story to your audience? We will map our communities and their respective Whys. We will test these Whys between classes, getting outside feedback.

TEST + PIVOT YOUR WHYS

Now that you have identified your Whys and audiences, you have developed a test for your narrative. Bring your updated Whys for a final presentation. When you finish articulating and testing your Whys, you have the foundational work for solid storytelling, and a method to pivot in the future.

INTEGRATE YOUR WHYS

Strengthen your brand story, craft your personal narrative, and integrate your Whys for storytelling across audience channels. Bring your work to the final class for feedback. Your Whys strengthen storytelling for your bio, website, brand messaging, social media, sales decks, and many more touchpoints. You will connect and engage audiences to make the impact you want to see in the world.
