Prior, Marissa served as Vice President, PR & Marketing, of MissionHUB, a network of Impact Hub coworking campuses in San Francisco, Berkeley, New York City, and Washington D.C., as well as the SOCAP Conference for social impact investors. Previously, Marissa co-founded Green Spaces NY, acquired by MissionHUB, becoming Impact Hub NYC.

Marissa frequently speaks about startups and social enterprises via Investor's Circle, Parsons the NEW School for Design, and NYU, among others. Marissa graduated from Syracuse University S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications with degrees in PR and marketing. She serves on the boards or advisories of Green Map, Ecodeo, Entertainment for Change, Toilets for People, NYU Stern's Annual Conference of Social Entrepreneurs, and The Artist Co-op. Marissa is also a SAG-AFTRA actress, represented by Scott Carlson Entertainment.
